Freight Friday Fix 🚚 06/02/2026
This week was all about growth, connections, and a bit of organised chaos (the good kind).
Alison has been busy chatting with some new onboarding customers, getting to know their needs and making sure everything is set up for success. Alongside her, Matt has been deep in logistics mode, working through warehouse spacing and management plans to make sure we can accommodate our new customers smoothly and efficiently. Plenty of measuring, planning, and head-scratching, but all very exciting stuff.
Meanwhile, Paige (our Operations Director) has been flat out getting orders packed as things continue to ramp up for the year ahead. After a weekend away in Wales with friends, she’s eased back into things with a lovely four-day week, well rested and straight back into keeping everything running like clockwork.
Ellie and Alison also headed out to the Stratford-upon-Avon Business Conference, which turned out to be super insightful. It was great to hear what’s happening across local businesses in the Stratford district and get updates directly from the local council. There was lots of networking, plenty of LinkedIn connections made, and some valuable conversations with fellow small businesses. A definite highlight was hearing from Doug King, owner of Coventry City Football Club—an inspiring talk with lots of takeaways.
Back at HQ, Paul has been cracking on with the kitchen and meeting room renovations, which are already starting to take shape. We’re very much looking forward to better brews and upgraded meeting vibes soon.
We also had a visit from a special visitor named Teddy which I’m sure you will have seen in our video of the week. She’s extra cute and fluffy and came for a tour of the offices with her sister Mabel.
